"NOTICE: I am the type of person that hates to leave negative reviews so when I do they should be taken with weight. We brought our State Farm Policy with us when we moved back home from Texas (I loved my agent in Texas, but was forced to switch to the local agent due to legality). We have had absolutely nothing but trouble from both State Farm and this agent's office. They are nice people to speak to both in person and on the phone, but don't let that fool you, they know how to manipulate the system to take more and more of your money. It all started when my house insurance came up for its annual renewal. I went to their office and asked why all of my values keep increasing but the amount of items covered and their values keep decreasing. SIDE NOTE: If you haven't read, not called and asked, about your home owners policy you might want to do so. Examples, they ONLY pay out $1,000 for jewelry or $1,200 for guns that's lost in a fire or stolen (NO that's NOT per item, that's total no matter what or how many are lost) plus I'm sure that you may find many other things informative in your policy. During my visits, they'd bang on their keyboard for a few seconds, state that they maybe could get my numbers back down to where they have been and send me on my way. Then a few short months later my auto insurance comes up for renewal, two drivers, no tickets, no wrecks, nothing has changed in the past 5 years. What does my auto insurance do, that's right INCREASES by $115.00 per month. Why you ask? Your guess is as good as mine. I returned to their office and tell them that they need to look into this or I'm changing companies. Guess that they thought I was bluffing, after two months, I went shopping. After shopping around I went to the GEICO office in Bossier for a quote. When they handed me the quote, I fell out of my chair. It was 1/4 the cost of State Farm for the same coverage. Needless to say that I went through the policy with a fine tooth comb, and after I determined that GEICO was better than State Farm all around, I walked out of there with the much better limits and lower deductibles for half the cost that I was paying State Farm. When I called to Rusty Billings' office to cancel my auto policy I was told that my home owners policy will double since I am cancelling my auto policy, (what? why? I still have multiple life policies with them). Bet you can't guess what happened next, yep that's right I went shopping again this time for house insurance. Found it!"
